  • Artist description

I actually made it strong when I was bored at night. I was actually supposed to go to my mom‘s house that day, but I got to stay with my dad and there are people that feel like they don’t belong that live in this world and sometimes you just want a road or somewhere you can go to to calm down this piece is a reminder was supposed to be a reminder that you’ll you can always find a road home no matter where you are. There will always be a path that can lead you where you need to go like, for example, the two colored sun can mean different things like how you can be torn apart between two worlds. The A pink sign in the background with the arrows is representing that there’s more than one path you can take just like my teacher told our class just a couple weeks ago there are two roads ones been walked on so much. It’s this flat one that has trees. Branches is just messed up. Most people go down on the road that most people have walked on because it looks safer, but there are some people that I go down the road with the twig eggs and trees that have fallen and the clouds represent how sometimes life can get cloudy. The reason they’re not covering up everything is because those clouds can split apart and another thing about this piece is some here’s kind of how I got the idea for this piece in art class the last couple weeks I’ve been really in the drunk sunsets ever since like October I’ve been like super into drawing sunsets and also an art class I’ve been learning perspective I was this was going to be a drawing with buildings like this was going to be like you’re driving down the road going like somewhere, but I thought about it a bit more and the lines I wanted to get like the perfect thing, but I don’t have a ruler so I actually used the edge of a cardboard box and I do a lot of these kinds of drawings. They’re all different. They all mean different things some of them have very similar meanings. Some of them have the exact same but I like drawing things like this right like right now another thing that inspired me to do this was right now I am working on a New York Skyview been working on it for weeks and I had been working on it for like three hours today about like taking breaks in between of course, but so I kind of want to work on something else so I grabbed a piece of paper and I also looked up some tips of like how to draw like what details to add to a sky view picture and it brought up more perspective and I think to myself i’ve learned this in school I remember like the first couple steps yeah I’ll watch the tutorial of how to do the rest of it I was gonna it was gonna be buildings, but the video was confusing because it was a short I couldn’t find any good actual long videos so yeah
