  I love sunsets, taking pictures of sunsets. I love drawing them. I love this love sunsets so I found this picture online and then I drew it. It doesn’t look like an exact copy, but it’s mine cause I just one day and was like I wanna draw a sunset. I was about to go to my mom‘s house and I wanted to draw something. I wanted to do something fun so I drew this piece. I don’t know what kind of sunset it is. I just know I love California my dad’s from California so and I know California has some really pretty sunsets so I named it a California sunset. I used markers acrylic markers for all of this every last detail except I also did use a pencil to trace out like the sun, the palm trees, the horizon line like where the horizon meets like where the land is, but we have most like all the color and basically all this was made with markers like acrylic markers. I tried to stick to a strict color theme if you cannot tell, I tried to make it look like the sunset is reflecting off the water, and I tried to make like a silhouette. How do you think it looks amazing and I hope you do too. I used color as that I knew it would pop from and then I did a like cool color to color ratio like for example, of the sunset I did blue first then purple like a blue. I had a lighter blue and I did a purple, a darker purple and then I did a pink lighter pink and then I did an orange orange and a yellow and then a lighter yellow. I think I did a light yellow at least I did this piece about a year ago back in 2025 so I hope you like it. I was originally not gonna post this piece but after a year, I changed my mind and as I’ve said, I’m pretty sure like three times now. I hope you like it as much as I do(sorry I know it is sideways. I tried taking it the other way my phone would not let me.)❤️🌺
