About this work
Hi! I’m 9 years old, and I drew this tree using pencil. It has bare branches like in winter, with lots of shading to show the bark and shadows. At the top, there’s a bird’s nest with two little eggs inside. Near the bottom of the tree, there’s a hole with an acorn falling out, like a squirrel might live there! I drew everything inside a frame to make it look like it’s ready to hang in a gallery.
This drawing is special to me because I used texture and imagination to tell a story with nature. I hope you like it and maybe want to give it a happy home!
